Wednesday- War, waterpark,wharf; wave lagoon and...Mindil markets (today)

Couldn't keep the "w" theme going into today - Mindil market midweek, maybe?

Wednesday: No photos at the Military Museum but their Defence of Darwin section (going through the bombings by Japan during WWII was excellent). Then off to the free waterpark in Darwin to cool off and have fun.  

Following that, we went to the wharf and had dinner, watching the sun set on Darwin's foreshore

Today, Andrew and Stephen had a day back at the caravan while I took the others to the Wave Lagoon in town.  Darwin had these great areas because you can't swim in the ocean (due to crocs).

Then Mindil Markets to have a quick look around.  Didn't stay for sunset as we had that night out already plus the others weren't with us. Didgeridoo, anyone?

Perhaps some bling?
